Rai Castells is a jazz guitarist based in Barcelona. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in Jazz Performance from the Berklee College of Music in Boston (USA), where he received several scholarships and honors, including the prestigious Elvin Jones Award and the Berklee World Scholarship Tour.

He studied with renowned musicians such as George Garzone, Joe Lovano, Hal Crook, Mick Goodrick, and Joanne Brackeen, and has performed with artists like Bill McHenry, Jeff Galindo, Robert Kaufman, Miguel “Pintxo” Villar, Benet Palet, Martí Serra, Jordi Gaspar, Jordi Gardeñas, Marco Mezquida, Guim Garcia, and Raynald Colom, among others.
He is involved in and has collaborated with a variety of musical projects, including:
